  • Configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Content Filtering Solutions such as McAffe Web Gateway, TrendMicro Gateway, Forcepoint, BlueCoat.
  • Configuration, administration and troubleshooring of next Generation FIrewalls: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA.
  • Troubleshooting of routing and switching.
  • Uses the Service Now ITSM tool to initiate, respond, and track tickets
  • Creates reports and analyzes metrics
  • Adheres to Change Management processes and procedures
  • Follows SOPs
  • Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues and deploys solutions
  • Plans and implements upgrades and install new equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols
  • Functional understanding of a diverse set of networked applications and terms requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, NAT and others.
  • DMZ Network infrastructure knowledge including topology, security policies, firewalls, and the L2/L3 switch and router infrastructure is required
  • Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues
  • Satisfactorily complete and maintain quarterly internal training and certification standard
  • Experience managing across the ITIL Service Lifecycle Framework with specific knowledge of the Service Design Coordination, Transition Planning & Support, and Release & Deployment Management processes
  • Excellent Verbal Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people who have varying degrees of technical expertise
  • Ability to produce quality documentation (understand the difference between standard, best practice, design & process documents
  • Participate on On-call rotations.
