- Plan, design, implement and maintain networked systems, including configurations, supporting / troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, Wireless controllers, Avocents, riverbeds and switches. - Conduct feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital / analog networks, and evaluation of network services / technology for current and future network development - Perform complex technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, LAN / WAN communications, network nodes, switches and various transmission systems. - Independently analyze and provide innovative solutions in order to support existing problems. - May serve as technical liaison with vendors - Apply advanced understanding of WAN/LAN internet - working design elements including cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development and requirements for testing/proof of concept. - Mentor and instruct junior level engineers on technical expertise needed in collecting and assembling data, preparing reports, monitoring progress and analyzing data - Recommend improvements and assist in the development of technical standards. Willing to work in oncall support environment. Key skills R&S EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Route Maps, NAT, HSRP, STP, Redistribution, QOS, VPN, Wireshark, packet capture analysis, Riverbed (WAN Optimization), Cascade, Aruba Clearpass & Wireless. Candidate should have good exposer working on incidents, changes, requests and problem records.Requirements: Exceptional knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques.
