Our comprehensive wide area networking (WAN) solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to and among - edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.Job DescriptionDesign & Planning SpecialistJob Role DescriptionNW Design & Optimisation (NWD) comprises the planning and / or managing the planning of communications networks for customers. Covers consultation of customers on communication network performance. Contains optimisation and / or managing of the optimisation of customer networks. Covers the execution of end-to-end design-related activities (address surveys, site surveys, design and as-built) for deployment projects. The Design & Planning Specialist designs, analyses, plans, and modifies network components supporting customer communication implementation activities. Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods. Prepares the analysis of the short or long-term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission, and signalling. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops alternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of network activities. Conducts economic and population growth studies to determine impact on network capacity and development plan projections. Performs the end-to-end design activities (including surveys, design itself, and as-built) required for a physical network deployment.Job Key Tasks & Responsibilities Works with clear guidance and supervision in his / her area of design (address surveys, site surveys, design, as-built) for deployment projects by delivering his / her outcomes on time and cost, including the Bill of Material- / Bill of Quantity-related to the designed network implementation. Performs routine assignments within standardised procedures and practices with regular supervision to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others and uses own knowledge and existing procedures to solve standard problems. Prepares High-level design / Low-level design (HLD/LLD) under guidance within standard guidelines and processes. Prepares databases and provides documentation of the planned network with guidance. • Global Delivery of Customer Projects for Design, Engineering and Deployment activities for advance Mobile solutions, mainly focused on LTE, VoLTE, 5G NSA 3X, 5G SA, VoWifi and pLTE end to end solutions.
• Support to the definition of Blueprint and Tools and Automation and generic network engineering in collaboration with Regional Teams and Special Task forces.
• Sharing and Transfer of knowledge to/from Global Teams and towards Regional teams.
• Providing architect level information towards Tools and Automation Team for development / enhancement of Delivery Tools.

Qualifications

• Batchelors Degree in Engineering
• Experience : 8 12 Years
• Packet Core / vEPC Experience : 7 - 12 Years in Design / Solution Integration Roles
• Must be proficient in 3GPP architectures and call flows with excellent troubleshooting and Documentation skills.
• Experience with AWS, AWS Lambda, Ansible, Mistral Play Books, CI CD, API writing are preferred competencies.
