The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the software and communications sectors, with excellent attention to detail and a deep understanding of patent laws and requirements. This is a fully remote position open to candidates from any location.Key Responsibilities:
• Draft high-quality patent applications for inventions in the software and communications domains.
• Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and technical teams to gather and understand technical details.
• Ensure compliance with US and EU patent laws and guidelines.
• Conduct patentability and prior art searches to support application quality.
• Review and revise patent documents to address examiner comments and maintain accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 48 years of patent drafting experience under US and EU jurisdictions.
• In-depth knowledge of software, communications, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in patent databases, research tools, and relevant software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
