What is a Pharmacy Manager A pharmacy manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire operations of the pharmacy department. Duties include assisting with the onboarding process of new hires, training staff to manage customer orders efficiently whilst maintaining professionalism at all times and ensuring pharmacy compliance with federal and state regulations. Other responsibilities include corresponding with customers to address queries and concerns.A bachelors degree in pharmacy or equivalent is required to be a pharmacy manager with most companies expressing a preference for those who are a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from an accredited school.
