Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service Smartly answer questions about products or the company Generating new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow - up and outbound cold calls / emails Ask questions to understand customer requirements. Responsible for giving online demos to the prospective clients Build pipeline and direct prospects to the field sales team when needed Enter and update customer information in the database Go the extra mile to meet qualified lead quota and facilitate future sales Keep records of calls , status , reminders and note useful information [ Take Responsibility ] Skills Must have . Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales / customer service role. Proven track record of successfully meeting qualified lead generation quota . Knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. ERP / CRM software) and telephone systems Ability to learn about products and services and describe / explain them to prospects Ability to persuade with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Cool - tempered and able to handle rejection.
