Job Description

    Stecktra Technologies Private Limited is currently seeking a Product Specialist Engineer (NETWORK SECURITY). The Product Specialist engineer coordinates technical activities. Transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via goodwritten, verbal and presentation skills. Assists in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies sales account managers on visits to customers. The desired candidate must have 5+ years of hands-on experience on Network Security products such as Checkpoint FirewallOther products: Trend Micro/Imperva/Algosec/Forcepoint/MobileIron/Crowdstrike.Key Responsibilities: Product presentation/demonstration Support with technical qualification Provide answers to (technical) questionsin a Request for Information or a Request for Proposal Build custom demos Deliver Proof of Concepts, BOQ Offer post-sales support Support customer events Provide any technical input needed for proposals Be able to position and present various product offerings Account mapping and pipeline managementNetworking: In depth working knowledge of TCP/IP v4 and an understanding of TCP/IP v6 Demonstrable experience in IP routing Experienced in Firewalls and IPS/IDS Sound experience and expertise Wireless Networking and BYOD technology Network and Application Load BalancerNetwork Security: Working knowledge of current security issues and technologies concerning the industry, together with a demonstrable interest in keeping abreast with technical developments in this field. Design and deployment experience on Web Security and SMTP gatewayPersonal Qualities: Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills Consultancy skills, combining the ability to seek understand customer issues and requirements whilst delivering solutions that address these. Facilitation of design workshops Strong self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative Should be able to work on minimum supervision Take responsibility and see the deliverables are met Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordinglyEducation/ Experience Required: Bachelors degree in Engineering Highly skilled in implementation of Network and System security solution in large networks Min of 3+ years experience with more than 3 years in the relevantfield. Product support/Product Specialist experience preferredCertification Desired: CCSA, CCSE
