Project EngineerWe are looking for a dedicated project engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.To be a successful project engineer, you should have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills. You should also have excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.Skills
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
• Masters degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Proven track record of successfully completed projects
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or a related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed
Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, and manage engineering projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
• Develop project specifications and scope of work
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards and regulations
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
• Prepare and present project progress reports
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to project plans
• Solve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Implement and oversee quality control measures
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Assist in the development and training of junior team members
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
