Job Description

    Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Science Travel Percentage : 0%About the role:This role will be responsible for building a high performing QA function to ensure high quality product delivery. The person will define the QA strategy for the engg team and hire the people required to build the functions at right locations to support product velocity. The platform is complex with multiple functionalities and therefore presents a great opportunity to learn about embedded payments and payfac-as-a-service.What you will be doing
    • Ensure the high quality delivery products on time the outcome should be It Just Works
    • You will be fully accountable for the quality assurance of each feature and product launch
    • Build and manage QA team, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members both onshore and offshore.
    • Help plan, track, and drive on all QA team activities
    • Establish KPIs/metrics to evaluate testing efforts and quality, and implement changes as necessary
    • Build product expertise to identify and close gaps in automation test coverage of our products
    • Be the advocate for testability, conduct test automation code reviews, evangelize test automation best practices, and drive defect prevention throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Work closely with Engineering, UX, and Product Teams in evaluating the requirements and identify acceptance criteria to ensure quality
    • Be hands-on and perform functional, regression, and release testing alongside team members
    • Teach and mentor both individual contributors and managers
    What you will need
    • BS degree in engineering computer science or related field
    • 5+ years of people management experience
    • 10+ years of relevant QA/testing automation experience
    • Bachelor s Degree preferred
    • Experience in QA Automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO using JS/TS
    • Experience in Agile QA methodologies, scrum preferred
    • Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as GitLab
    • Experience working in a SaaS company
    • Strong leadership presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
    • Self-motivator, who can work independently and with remote teams, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines and demonstrates product solving skills
    • Effectively communicates technical information in a clear and concise manner and able to coordinate across team effo
    • Must be able to work with a monolith as well as distributed microservices architecture
    • Highly motivated and open minded with an attitude of learning and solving tough tech problems
    • A team player and a problem solver with a positive mind-set
