Job Description

    Job SummaryWe are seeking two proactive and results-driven Sales Executives with experience in freight forwarding and international logistics (both Export and Import). Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving individual sales targets for our comprehensive logistics services.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development:Identify and target potential clients requiring international logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance services for both Export and Import.Generate new leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals.Actively participate in sales campaigns and initiatives as directed by the Sales Manager.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Sales & Negotiation:Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations for freight forwarding (Air, Sea, Land) and customs clearance services.Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve and exceed assigned individual sales targets. Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client issues.Market Intelligence & Reporting:Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the international logistics and freight forwarding sector.Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:Proven experience (minimum 2-5 years) as a Sales Executive or Business Development professional in the freight forwarding or international logistics industry.Demonstrated experience in handling both Export and Import logistics sales. Strong track record of achieving sales targets.Industry Knowledge:Good understanding of international shipping processes (Air Freight, Sea Freight, LCL, FCL, express cargo), customs regulations, and documentation for both Export and Import.Familiarity with Incoterms. Sales Acumen:Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills. Strong lead generation and prospecting abilities.Ability to understand client requirements and propose effective solutions.Communication:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to build rapport quickly with clients.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM software is a plus.Personal Attributes:Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a self-starter. Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
