Job Description

    Primary Skills
    • Hands-on working experience with SAP BW/4HANA and usage of objects like Composite providers, Open ODS view, advanced DSOs, Transformations, exposing BW models as HANA views, mixed scenarios, and performance optimization concepts such as data tiering optimization.
    • Very good understanding of virtualization and Data tiering optimization
    • Experience with integrating BW with various SAP and Non-SAP backend systems/sources of data and usage of different data acquisition techniques in BW/4HANA along with SDI/SDQ
    • Must have knowledge to integrate SAP Data hub and SAP BW/4HANA
    • Very good knowledge of available SAP BW/4HANA tools and its usage like BW/4HANA Web Administration Tools, BW/4HANA Web Cockpit and ABAP CDS views
    • Highly skilled in developing data models in BW/4HANA including definition and documentation of the overall architecture, development and testing
    • Clear understanding of data lake and it s usage in BW/4HANA
    • Capable of recommending and carrying out performance tuning of the HANA models and understanding of best SAP best practices
    • Experience in migrating historical data from legacy data warehouse to BW/4HANA
    • Proficient with BW specific security concepts around roles and privileges and its integration with HANA
    • Proficient in understanding the requirements and converting it to solution and architecture design, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions
    • Good practical knowledge of SAP HANA 2.0
    • Knowledge of ABAP, SQL and Java script is must to have
    Secondary Skills
    • Functional Knowledge in various modules of R/3, S/4 HANA
    • Knowledge of SAP and Non SAP Reporting tools like BOBJ, SAC, UI5, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau
    • Knowledge of SAP HANA 2.0 application development
    • Knowledge of Odata services
