An SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant with 4 years of experience in IS Retail, FMS (Flexible Maintenance Services), and AFS (Apparel and Footwear) brings a highly specialized skill set tailored to industries like retail, fashion, and maintenance services.Industry-Specific Knowledge
• IS Retail:
  • Experience with SAP IS-Retail module, which includes retail-specific processes such as store order management, promotions, markdowns, and assortment management.
  • Knowledge of Retail Merchandise Management (RMM) and Assortment Management.
  • Integration with POS (Point of Sale) systems and handling of retail-specific workflows like sales transactions, rebates, and promotions.
  • Expertise in managing retail channels like e-commerce, brick-and-mortar stores, and wholesale.
• FMS (Flexible Maintenance Services):
  • Expertise in configuring SAP solutions for service management, including managing service contracts, warranty, and repairs.
  • Configuring service orders and integrating them with financial modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO).
  • Understanding of maintenance strategies in the context of equipment, machinery, and after-sales service.
• AFS (Apparel and Footwear):
  • Specific knowledge of Apparel and Footwear (AFS) industry processes like size and color matrix management, and handling of bulk and serialized goods.
  • Configuring styles, sizes, and color variants within the SAP system.
  • Understanding of material management for fashion, including stock management based on product variants and handling seasonal collections.
  • Familiarity with global data structures and managing multi-channel distribution models.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Implementation: Leading or supporting SAP SD implementation projects, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Configuration: Extensive experience in customizing SAP SD, IS Retail, AFS, and FMS modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Process Optimization: Analyzing and improving sales and distribution processes, reducing manual effort, and ensuring automation for efficiency.
• Training & Support: Providing training to end-users, creating documentation, and offering post-go-live support to resolve issues and fine-tune processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other SAP modules (MM, WM, FI, etc.) and business teams to ensure seamless integration and business process alignment.
