Job Description

As a Seed Production Incharge manages, to the end to end cultivation, field operations, and processing of high quality seeds. This role oversees crop planning, contract grower coordination, compliance with seed certification standards, and post harvest management to achieve yield and purity targets.Key Responsibilities:Field Planning and Execution: Plan sowing schedules, select optimal production plots, and execute field operations matching target volumes.Crop Monitoring and Management: Supervise agronomic practices, crop health, pest disease control, rouging, and detasseling.Grower Coordination: Partner with contract farmers and field teams to ensure compliance with isolation distances and standard operating procedures.Quality and Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with certification agencies and internal quality control teams to meet seed purity standards.Post Harvest Operations: Oversee harvesting, threshing, drying, processing, packaging, and safe transit to storage or processing plants.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate field logs, certification paperwork, yield estimations, and management information system reports.
