Job Description

Position SummaryThe primary role of the Senior Director, India Operations is to oversee the all aspects of Dynata business activities in a country or region. The Senior Director, India Operations will be responsible for delivering financial and operations success by implementing new ideas, constructing budgets, managing finances, overseeing staff recruitment and training, exceeding customer expectations and ensuring that all operations comply with local laws and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities These include the following. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management in the context of the role.

  • Work closely with Global Leadership team in executing Dynata s strategic direction in the country
  • Provide strong leadership, give clear direction and guidance to the local cross-functional management team while breeding the right environment and autonomy to operate successfully
  • Oversee all aspects of the country s operations, including those related to HR, Admin and Finance
  • Closely monitoring the operating and financial results against plans/budgets and optimizing accordingly
  • Establish a strategy to recruit, develop and retain the best local talent
  • Evaluate processes and procedures, and develop strategies and implementation plans to improve aspects of service delivery
  • Managing escalations to resolution through cross-team collaboration and customer focus
  • Report metrics to senior leadership, in a meaningful way, on a regular basis
  • Ensure all operations comply with local laws and regulations
  • Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly in order to maintain the company competitiveness/attractiveness on the labor market
  • Building strong professional relationships with staff and clients

  • Bachelor s degree; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years in mid to senior level management roles in Operations
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Proven track record in building and leading cross-functional teams to achieve challenging business goals
  • Strong communication and consensus building skills are a must
  • Market Research background is a plus
