Job Description

  • In this role, you will be responsible for helping, ensure security at the application layer for platforms, including mobile apps and cloud based applications/platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct application security assessments and penetration tests of applications using various tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with application development teams to ensure appropriate education and process within the development cycle.
  • Understand the data and process flow with a view of ensuring right controls can be built in to meet customer s security and privacy requirements.
  • Work with partners if external assessments are required for any applications like SOC2.
  • Establish positive relationships with peers, product heads, and executive level partners.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional team in building customer-centricity and happiness.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications
  • Graduate/ Post Graduate or its equivalent.
  • Experience in application security and penetration testing
  • Excellent Technical knowledge of application security scanning tools required e.g. Fortify, Veracode, IBM app scan source, IBM Rational App Scan, Burp Suite, CheckMarx, WebInspect etc
  • Good at app development process (including mobile) and security frameworks like OWASP Top 10, NIST, SANS etc.
  • Good understanding of technical information security concepts
  • Basic understanding on Data security, AWS, Azure Sales Force Cloud security concepts.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, risk, confidentiality, integrity, availability, cryptography, network/application security, web security, etc.)
  • Threat Modelling, Secure Code Review, API Security knowledge.
  • Knowledge in one or more of solutions like Vulnerability management, Compliance frameworks NIST, CIS, PCI, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Pen Testing Tools, other enterprise security solutions
  • Should have familiarity with security standards, and have experience good with ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, SSAE16, NIST/FedRAMP, etc.
Preferred qualifications
  • Good understanding of Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with RESTful micro service architecture.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Azure DevOps, GIT.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
