Job Description

  • Writing clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable manner
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases
  • Follow acceptance criteria and participate in platform architecture planning
  • Follow industry best practices for efficiency and security
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Commit to a negotiable, but dedicated work schedule to aid collaboration
Skills Required:
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Experience developing applications that handle large datasets
  • Experience developing applications that support moderate to heavy user traffic
  • Experience with Agile Methodology, Continuous Integration & Git repository practices
  • Knowledge of unit testing, user acceptance and cross browser testing
  • Knowledge of MySQL or other relational database systems (Mongo, NoSQL a plus)
  • Advanced software development experience in PHP, HTML, CSS3, Sass, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Knowledge of coding practices to protect against XSS, SQL Injection, and other vulnerabilities
  • Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc)
  • Experience with SAML based SSO and secure authentication systems
  • [BONUS] Experience with software compliance (PCI, EDI, HIPAA, etc)
