Senior Quality Analyst QA

Job Description

Team will be working on product enhancement activities. New Product Features will be built by the team and Product Configuration activities are also involved. Product Vision and Direction, Demos will be conducted along with Product Documentation. Enhancement based on Market Research / CompetitivenessFocus on building product brand & SMEs.Primary responsibilities:Develop test plans, test cases for both manual and automated testingIdentify gaps in the quality assurance and testing processes, generate solutions and drive continuous improvementWork within the agile team to support product enhancement testingWork with development, test and product management to design and implement test and validation strategiesRequired Qualification & Skill-Set:Engineering Graduate or Masters5-8 years of experience working on QABasic understanding of different OS, browsers, databasesBasic understanding of a programming language e.g. Java, Perl, Python, and Shell etc.Basic understanding of client-server and web architecturesGood understanding to QA automation languages such as Selenium etc.Basic understanding of testing fundamentals, test environment set-up and different types of testingBasic understanding of defect logging and tracking using a toolUnderstands of a typical defect life cycleHas good testing aptitudeCan write technical documents/emails (audience: peers and immediate manager)Has Business and Domain Orientation Awareness of the project domainAble to reproduce and troubleshoot issuesAble to relate to the customer requirements and expectationsAble to timely complete all test cases design & test execution tasksAble to timely submission of status reportsCan promptly and proactively updating the relevant test documentation correctly and in timeCan proactively communicate test-blocking issues to supervisor as they are discoveredReport test progress and status to supervisor on a regular basisHas knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations, and has gone through HIPAA trainingHas understanding of Health Care domainExcellent communication skillsGood programming skills and background on above technologiesSDLC knowledgeTeam will be working on product enhancement activities.
