Job Description

*Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience., * Seeking a DevOps Operations Lead with solid experience of 12 - 15 years of experience The DevOps Operation Center Lead is expected to perform all or most of the following activities:

  • Design, build, and deliver dashboards and reports to monitor applications and underlying cloud infrastructure to identify bottlenecks causing degradation of service quality and/or availability
  • Configure/Leverage existing operational tools to create service availability dashboards and service visibility status
  • Leverage asset management and monitoring system to clearly identify customers impacted and level of impact
  • Evaluate tools, technologies and processes to improve team efficiency and scalability
  • Define strategy to leverage available operational tools to improve operational efficiency
  • The selected candidate shall be a self-starter and can work independently on identified platforms and take ownership of Dev. Ops activities.
Required Skills
  • 4-5 years in DevOps projects
  • Excellent in Agile framework
  • Scrum master Certification is added advantage
  • Should have hands-on/knowledge in Atlassian suites Confluence Jira, JIRA SD
  • Knowledge of tools like PagerDuty and SLACK is required
  • Knowledge of consuming REST APIs is essential
  • Ability to build quick solutions usin APEX is added advantage
  • Solid understanding in Git
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong scripting in Python and automation skills.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Prometheus).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project Management skills
