Job Description

    Software Engineer - PM Platform & AI AutomationJob DescriptionWe are transforming how Product Management operates within SRE. Our team builds the intelligent connective tissuethat automates the software development lifecycle. By leveragingAI/LLM-powered automationand deep integrations with internal systems (Ticketing, Quip, Slack), we eliminate manual overhead in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reporting. This is ahands-on development rolefocused on building the tools that allow our PMs to stop managing spreadsheets and start driving strategy.Core Responsibilities
    • Architect AI Workflows:Design and deploy LLM-powered agents to automate sprint planning, summarize complex technical meetings, and perform intelligent backlog grooming.
    • Systems Integration:Build robust connectors between internal ticketing systems and collaboration platforms to create a unified single source of truth,drastically reducing context-switching.
    • Develop Internal APIs:Create the backend services and automation scripts that bridge disparate data silos, surfacing actionable insights for stakeholders via custom dashboards.
    • Scale Self-Service Tooling:Build intuitive interfaces that empower PM teams to configure their own automation logic without needing direct engineering intervention.
    • Standardize at Scale:Engineering reusable templates and automated workflows for Agile ceremonies (Retros, Standups) and critical artifacts (Risk Registers, Project Charters).
    Tech StackPython scripting, LLM APIs/AI familiarity, REST APIs/OAuth or Auth (e.g Quip, Google Docs, or Notion APIs), Git or CI/CD, Scrum/Kanban familiarityJD ClairtyCan you confirm the exact nature of the role:AI/LLM EngineeringInternal Tooling / AutomationWhat will the candidate spend 70-80% of their time on 50/50 - We want some glue code that interfaces with our internal tooling/automation, and uses llms to generate reports, dashboard, status reports, etc.Non-negotiable skills:
    • LLM skills are the most important. Both the python and the APIs are something AI tools will help them with.
    • Communication/product design is the second most important. They need to talk with our Project and Product manager to understand our internal tooling lifecycle/process, to be able to make tools that improve it.
    Do you need: Production-level AI experience OR POC / project-level exposure is fine this is not currentlya production-level project. We are looking for poc-project level exposure.Are APIs already available or will they: Our APIs exist (new APIs wont be built)
