Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Consultant SQL/Sybase DBAResponsibilities

  • Working experience on Sybase and SQL 2012/2014/2016 and latest.
  • Must have experience of SQL installation standalone and cluster environment.
  • Experience in SQL/Sybase DB patching of different CU release.
  • Must have experience in setup and troubleshooting of Log shipping, SQL replication.
  • Knowledge of mirroring and SQL always on will be good
  • Sound knowledge performance tuning optimization.
  • Know of automation through power-shell or other scripting language.
  • Experience in Sybase/SQL upgrade/migration from different version.
  • Strong knowledge in different type of backup and recovery model.
  • Experience with database security and database maintenance.
  • Knowledge of high availability in SQL.
  • Should have working experience on user setup and role and permission management.
  • Knowledge of Query optimization/performance trouble shooting with developer would be added advantage.
  • Experience in perform /SQL profiler tool.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications
  • Graduate B Tech
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge about other databases like MS SQL DB, Sybase and Replication.
  • Meet defined SLAs and KPIs related to production support.
  • Improvements and optimizations to stabilize the environment
