Job Description

Installing & Configuring Windows Windows XP/ 7/ 8/ 8.1/ 10.Installing & Configuring Windows 2003/ 2008/ 2012 Servers.Incumbent should be able to attend end user calls to assist them remotely (either on phone or via desktop sharing etc.) to solve their desktop/ blackberry/ iPhone related problems.Good working knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Microsoft technologies and should be able to do first hand troubleshooting (L2).Perform security health check of clients infrastructure and create a report which will be used by senior management.Should be able to do first hand troubleshooting (L2 level) related to server problems and escalate unresolved issues to L3 engineers with your findings.Should be able to do fist hand troubleshooting (L2 support) related to backup issues (VEEAM, Unitrends, Windows Backup, DPM etc.) and escalate unresolved issues to L3 engineers with findings.Knowledge of virtualization platform (VMware/ vSphere/ ESXi/ Hyper- V) will be an advantage.Knowledge of Storage/ SAN/ NAS will be an advantage.Should have basic knowledge of any monitoring and tools ( SCOM / Solarwinds/ Nagios etc. )Should have basic idea about ITIL.Should possess very good communication skills and have handled international clients in past esp North American OperationsShould be comfortable working in 24/ 7 environment majorly during EST hours,
