Job Description

    HiGreetings from Business Tree!This role will work within product delivery teams following agile principles to support business outcomes by ensuring that our applications work as expected in a complex IT environment working with multiple stakeholders. You will work closely with DevOps Engineers, UX Designers, Developers and SMEs.Responsibilities:Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Review application requirement, provide feedback and define acceptance criteria
    • Create test plans, test cases and strategy for functional, cross-platform and automation testing
    • Manage traceability of test cases to requirements
    • Continuous evaluation of the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
    • Execution of functional, regression, cross-platform and acceptance tests.
    • Perform test automation and exploratory testing.
    • Mentor and train junior testers on testing methodologies.
    • Evaluate ways for continuous improving the testing process.
    • Setup test environment and testing tools.
    • Maintain test data and test documentation.
    • Work unsupervised, take responsibility for own tasks and prioritization of work, show initiative and self-motivation
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors from a recognized university
    • Certifications in Testing from ASQ or ISTQB are desirable
    Experience:
    • Candidate should have 8-12 years of experience in testing out of which at-least 3 years has to be in testing of Cloud based applications.
    • Candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience in defining and executing end-to-end testing of Cloud based applications. Experience in testing of Digital Marketing Platforms built on CRM and CMS will be a plus.
    • Candidate should have experience in all areas of testing - functional validation of core functions supported by the platform, API validation, cross-platform, and cross-browser testing
    • Candidate should have experience in performance and scalability testing of the platform.
    • Candidate should have experience of working within Agile teams using JIRA and should be able to manage test cases and record test results within JIRA.

    • Test Automation (e.g. Selenium), Performance Testing (e.g. JMeter), Test Case Management (e.g. Zephyr), Cross-platform testing
