Job Description

    • Business Analysts
        • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
        • Experience working with health care data, preferably in a provider or commissioner setting or a software vendor that offers data solutions to health care provider and commissioners
        • Foundational understanding of relational database concepts and OLAP technology
        • Knowledge of health care specific datasets e.g. SUS and SLAM. A working knowledge of primary care, social care, community, and mental health data sets is desirable.
        • Knowledge of health care reporting / analytic uses e.g. the commissioning cycle, payment groupers, PbR, the national tariff, contract monitoring reporting, contract modelling, risk stratification, and information validation, etc.
        • Knowledge of health care terminology e.g. HRGs, diagnosis / procedure codes, etc.
    • Business Intelligence Engineers
        • An understanding regarding designing and creating systems for transforming data from disparate sources for Business Intelligence and Analytics.
        • Preference on SQL, Vertica and/or Oracle knowledge
        • SSRS, OLAP, ROLAP, MDX, IIS, MS SQL Server
        • Proficient in ETL and hands-on experience with one of the ETL tools (i.e., SSIS, Databricks)
    • QA
        • We utilize Jira-Xray as a primary commercial system and we would need to teach QA resources how to use our internal systems.
        • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
          • Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
          • Report bugs and errors to development teams
          • Help troubleshoot issues
        • Essential Education, Experience and Interests:
          • Knowledge of software testing process, test types and test technics
          • Strong knowledge and experience in manual web testing (at least 1 year)
          • Experience/knowledge in defect report creation/verification with bug-tracking systems
          • Basic SQL knowledge
          • Good spoken and written English (Intermediate is required)
