Job Description

Dear Job Aspirants,We require a suitable candidates for the position of Unit Head for our Defence Channel in a reputed life insurance company.Locations : Amritsar, Gurgaon, Noida and MeerutCTC : Up to 7 LPAPosition Summary :To get the life insurance policies of the company sold in the Unit assigned. These policies are sold only to families of Armed services customers and paramilitary customers. Manage a team of Senior Sales Managers of the Unit.Achieve business results in Defence segment through effective translation of the business strategy into collated Branch Plans. Provide leadership and motivation to the Defence Sales team towards raising performance standards, and be a valuable resource to the Company.Responsiblities :Key Deliverables:

  • Facilitate creation of effective distribution of Officer Prahri and LA as per yearly goal
  • Maintain Month on Month Target Vs Achievement at a minimum of 100%
  • Facilitate and maintain the complete SM module at any given
  • Ensure that a minimum of 50% of total SM force is aligned for promotion and career Development at the end of
  • Ensure cost efficiency in all aspects with specific focus towards Officer Prahri and SM hiring and optimize the cost of
Customer Relationship Management- External:
  • Actively network and build relationships in Catchment areas of
  • Review of sales process followed and quality of sales advice and after sales engagement
Code of Conduct and Compliance of all Regulatory norms:
  • Ensure adherence of code of conduct by the entire Team in respective branches
  • Confirmation to all financial and administrative
  • Ensure Compliance to all statutory & regulatory
  • Ensure compliance with all the Branch norms set by the company.
Territory Manager / Area Head be responsible :
  • For guidance, supervision and control over the Sales Manager / OP / LA under his/ her direct or indirect hierarchy in respect to their life insurance
  • For the quality of life insurance policies sourced by the Sales Manager / OP / LA under his/ her direct or indirect hierarchy in respect to their life insurance
  • Vicariously responsible for all the acts of omission and commission by the Sales Manager / OP / LA under his/ her direct or indirect hierarchy in respect to their life insurance
Job Specifications : -
  1. Qualifications
Graduate/ Post Graduate - MBA, sales and Marketing (preferred)
  1. Experience:
  • More than 3 years of experience preferably in insurance industry. Should be from defense background with experience of leading a team of result oriented sales
Preference of Industry background
  • Preference 1: Insurance/financial sales exp +defence experience
  • Preference 2: Sales Background, any industry + Defence experience
  • Preference 3: Defence Ex-servicemen
  • Preference 4: Insurance Sales+ history of adaptability to new business avenues
  • Preference 5: Pure defence family back ground( Current Serving personnel)
