Strong analytical / problem solving skills. Ability to identify and evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective. Exceptional influencing and communication skills. Exceptional ability to translate between non-technical business users and requirement to IT technical solutions. Excellent client service attitude and leadership capabilities. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Experienced developer using COBOL on a LINUX platform, JCL, and CICS Creation of Technical Specifications (Tech Specs) Creation of unit test plans - On Call support Insurance product knowledge Life products (UL, Term, Whole Life) Annuities Group Insurance ProductsPreferences: - Optional (nice-to-have s) - Ability to communicate (oral/written) effectively to exchange information with our client. - US Life insurance domain knowledge. LOMA certified. - Basic knowledge of Java.Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday from 2:00 AM CST to 12PM CST. The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend s basis business requirement.
