Provide support for all Kronos physical and virtual server environments. Collaborate with Project Managers and various global team members on approved IT projects. Work with Global IT Team Members on day to day operational issues. Design, Architect, Deploy, and Support Server, Operating System. Respond to Help Desk tickets and automatic alerting systems. Ability to be on a rotational On-call schedule. Participate in 24x7 system support and handle escalations
Qualifications
B.Tech or related bachelor s degree plus around 6 to 8 years of experience with enterprise environment. Strong hands on experience in VMware ESXi 5.x6.x and vCloud Director 9.19.5 Expertise in Virtual Desktop VMware Horizon View with App Volume Manager and User Environment Manager. Proficient in Windows 2008, 20122016 Servers Hands on experience with Dell FX2 Chassis & Rack mount hardware Exposure to Monitoring and asset management tools such as SolarWinds and Lan Sweeper. Good understanding of Backup and Storage concepts Good knowledge of Power shell scripting. Knowledge and experience working with ITIL based processes Hands on experience in Zerto or SRM. Good knowledge of DockerKubernetes would be a plus Basic Knowledge of Linux would be a plus Participation on MajorSeverity incidents for resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for the Major incidents Experience with ServiceNow or another Service Desk ticketing system. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various Engineering, DBA, Network, and applications group team members. Good team player Strong communication skills.
