The Web Systems Administrators primary responsibility is to support web server products and specifically Microsofts Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and 7.x, 8.x. Qualified candidates will be engaged in providing on- going support, daily stewardship, troubleshooting, automation, and enhancement of web server products. The candidate will meet web technology goals to provide the vision and direction for business partners running applications on client Internet and Intranet web servers. In addition, the candidate would also act a liaison between web technology and business areas implementing solutions on the Windows Server and Microsoft .NET family of solutions.Perform regular maintenance on the Web hosting environments, including software installation, upgrades, and patching.Support custom development and business activities as they relate to the Web infrastructure, including performing custom application code deployments, assisting with testing and validation, and remediation.Maintains Web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/ stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.Upgrades Web system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.Provides 24x7 post- implementation supports, responds to problem quickly and provide both short and long term resolutions.Perform other duties and/ or special projects as assigned.- Leverage appropriate toolsets, techniques and subject matter experts to help the delivery teams overcome application performance issues Technologies:- Windows 2003 Server/ IIS 6.0 Implementations- Windows 2008 Server SP2/ R2 and IIS7.5 Implementations- Windows 2012 Server SP2/ R2 and IIS8.,
