Job Description

  • To achieve the annual sales target by implementing annual sales plan through distributors and dealers. Commercial customer handling such as collection plan, handling field promotion expenses. Handle team of sales organisers for infield promotion.
  • Implementing downstream marketing ( Go to market ) plans such as, pre commercial trials of new products, new product introduction, establish these new products , conducting field promotional activities such as pre sowing campaigns and field days and field trips.
  • Competitors informationSuch as new product performance, pricing, ABS, Schemes & activities.
  • Customer Relation management: segmented retailers management, Plan and provide post sale services to customers to create the success stories, customer complaint handling. Legal matter handling.
  • Achieve sales plan in the territory across the crops.
  • To gain / maintain leading position of the company by creating pull for product assortment at grass root level.
  • Effective customer relationship management and maintain brand image.
  • Introduction and establishment of new products for future growth
Accountabilities
  • Create and Execute the Sales planand modus operandi to deliver the sales target for the responsible geography.
  • Execute a plan for the growthof the responsible geography, increase market share and lead growth.
  • Ensure thatright peopleare available to deliver the business aspiration. Have a fully motivated, engaged and energized Field Staff.
  • Support the senior managersin improving business contribution and profitable growth through a mechanism of better forecasting and reduced day sales outstanding.
  • Delivera strongchannel engagementand campaign plan along with executing the Go-To-Market Strategy for effective business success.
  • Ensure demand generationthrough FTPs, Farm Days etc.,
  • Any other responsibilitiesas assigned by senior manager from time to time including Country/CU projects.
, Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Critical Knowledge: Technical knowledge for handling customers and creating success stories, Commercial skills for Customer Accounts Receivable Management.
  • Critical Skills: Team player, communication skills, customer handling skills.
  • Critical Experience: Sales management, Customer Relation Management, Accounts Receivable management.
  • Agriculture graduate / post graduate
  • Knowledge of local language /Products/Markets
