Job Description

Position DetailsPosition AM/DM Manufacturing Quality Assurance (Vehicle Assembly Quality)Reports To Manager- Manufacturing Quality AssurancePlace of Posting MTWD- PithampurJob PurposeTo Ensure Superior Quality Standards in Manufacturing ProcessResponsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Ensuring the delivery of product with specified Quality level from production line
  • Identification of critical processes, Planning and execution of internal process audits on for these critical process
  • Continuous monitoring of manufacturing process in all shops through structured audits
  • 1st level defect analysis and initiating immediate corrective action initiation
  • Co-ordination with internal process owners in quality, manufacturing, PD, sourcing & logistics for quality improvement
  • Planning and execution of internal process audits on prime important processes/ torque points
  • Co-ordinate, review & monitoring of quality points system implementation along with manufacturing
  • Up-gradation & Implementation audit control plan & check sheets based on internal and external customer feedback
  • Daily review with his team member/Workmen, understanding the problems & bottlenecks & provide the solutions
  • Ensure the process oriented approach to achieve the prescribed quality standards
  • Focus on reduction in rework & rejection to ensure first time right & Horizontal deployment in terms of Mistake Proof or Poka-Yoke implementation across plants
  • Developing & implementation of the control plan for Vehicle Assembly quality.
  • Provide support to CQA for Complex Quality issues root cause analysis or solving the customer quality problem through measurement, testing & analysis of components
  • Quality documentation, reporting & archive as per ISO 9001 standard & procedure requirement
  • Establish a Robust auditing system related to Product & process
  • Knowledge of PDCA cycle & plan corrective & preventive action whenever required.
  • Knowledge of Making Quality Plan, Process flow, Quality check point & Control Point

  • APQP, MPPAP
  • Good Data & quality problem Analytical skills
