As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and certified Quality Control Engineer to join our team.Position Overview: As a Mechanical Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing mechanical systems, equipment, and components for our oil and gas projects. Your expertise in ASME Section, knowledge of Safety Codes, and familiarity with NFPA codes will be essential in creating designs that meet regulatory requirements and adhere to safety guidelines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADworx, and other 3D modeling software will enable you to create accurate and detailed designs while ensuring manufacturability.Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects, considering project specifications, industry standards, and safety codes such as ASME Section and NFPA codes.Utilize AutoCAD, CADworx, and other 3D modeling software to create detailed design layouts, assembly drawings, and models.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, project managers, and procurement, to understand project requirements and ensure designs meet functional and operational objectives.Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design concepts to determine their suitability, considering factors such as safety, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design process.Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design performance and integrity.Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that designs meet quality requirements and can be manufactured efficiently.Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation related to design activities.Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to mechanical design in the oil and gas sector.Qualifications:Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Or Chemical Engineering or a related field.Strong knowledge of ASME Section, safety codes, and regulatory requirements specific to the oil and gas industry.Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADworx, and other 3D modeling software to create detailed designs and models.Proven experience in mechanical design engineering roles within the oil and gas industry.Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design standards, and best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.Familiarity with project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and considerations for optimizing design for manufacturability.Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.Join our team of talented engineers and contribute to the success of our oil and gas projects.
