Azure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) services are on a mission to provide customers with assured protection for all their workloads (VMs, Databases, Containers, File Servers, Storage Services Data), running on any cloud (on-premises, edge, and Azure Cloud) and Hypervisors/Containers. Our data protection platform goes beyond just backups and disaster recovery to provide fit-for-purpose experiences for customers to manage threats like ransomware. Determining a scalable model for protection and allowing consistent management across all clouds is the key . Responsibilities
• Defines product vision and strategy , leveraging deep understanding of the customer experience and competitive market.
• Building consensus on product strategy/vison across all functions and aligns with internal/external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for product/ service feature area(s)
• Identifying short-and long-term investment opportunities, evaluating tradeoffs, and driving the product roadmap .
• Defines the feature set and iterates with multiple designs with Design and Engineering.
• Engaging customers to capture feedback , develop insights, evangelize, and educate
• Works across all stages of product lifecycle from product definition, planning, release, modifications, maintenance, and feature deprecation.
, Qualifications
• Bachelors (or higher) degree in Engineering. (Advanced technical degree or MBA a plus)
• 7+ years of professional technical product management and/or software development experience (cloud experience is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with remote teams.
• Strong aptitude for data driven decision-making.
• Strong focus on delivering end to end customer value.
• Demonstrated leadership and exceptional cross-team skills.
