Job Description

POSITION FUNCTION: We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to oversee and support our inside sales representatives team. As a Director of Sales , you are expected to be responsible for the strategic and tactical aspects of the Inside Sales process , set goals and monitor and measure performance against coordinating with the sales team in Canada and lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Hire , build , motivate and mentor a high - functioning inside sales team to lead and drive sales conversations Development of the Sales plan for sales teams in line with the overall sales strategy Manage the inside sales team Responsible for hiring , training , motivating and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for these employees. Suggest and implement improvements in the sales process and monitor the impact of these changes over a determined period of time. Set and track sales targets for your team. Prepare weekly , monthly and quarterly sales goals for the inside sales team Suggest development programmes for the team and work with Training managers to prepare content. Build an open - communication environment and maintain a positive relationship with the team members Evaluate customer feedback to ensure that the inside sales department is operating successfully and use this feedback to make improvements if needed. SKILLS REQUIRED: Expertise in written and oral communication Proven experience in handling team Proven work experience as an Inside sales manager In - depth understanding of the sales administration process Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude all the time Strong numerical abilities and problem - solving attitude Excellent interpersonal and team management skills Minimum 10 - 12 years exp. in Inside Sales 6+ years exp in handling team Prior experience in the field of e - commerce / IT industry will be preferred,
