Job Description

    As a Sales Manager, your role will involve the following key responsibilities:- **Financial:** - Developing sales targets (volume and value) for each sub-category of products for distributors in your area - Managing distributors to ensure primary sales plan is achieved - Ensuring timely clearance of outstanding payments from distributors- **Customer Orientation:** - Positioning new product line/brand/SKU in the assigned sales zone/markets - Collecting and synthesizing feedback on product portfolio - Capturing feedback of retailers on secondary scheme, NPD, and distribution - Scouting and appointing new distributors - Ensuring distributor gets all relevant post-appointment support - Being the point of contact for distributors and monitoring product movement - Resolving complaints of channel partners including issues related to returns- **People Orientation:** - Defining daily tasks for each Sales Officer - Mentoring, coaching, and supervising company Sales Officers - Evaluating Sales Officer performance and creating customized action plans- **Internal Business Process:** - Leveraging Sales Officers to build and refresh the universe of footwear outlets - Highlighting gaps in the market and developing action plans - Conducting Retailer visits to improve product visibility and availability - Receiving distributor orders, checking credit limit, and ensuring order details are shared - Compiling market working reports and sharing with the admin team - Analyzing competitor initiatives and preparing action plans - Providing sales forecast support to Regional Sales Manager - Focus on the implementation of companys strategic objectivesIn addition to these responsibilities, you will need to possess the following competencies:**Technical/Functional:**- Business Acumen- Selling skills- Market Knowledge- Analytical skills- Customer Focus- Collaboration- Adaptability- Result Orientation- Negotiation skillsYour performance will be measured based on the following key result areas:**Quantitative:**- Sales Volume/Value Achievement- % Revenue Contribution from NPDs- Rs.
