The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our network systems and providing support for network-related issues.Key Roles & Responsibilities: Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network designs meet organizational requirements for performance, scalability, and security. Network Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor network performance and availability using various tools. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to keep the network running smoothly. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues related to connectivity, performance, and security. Provide support to internal teams and end-users for network-related problems. Security: Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and documentation. Document changes, incidents, and troubleshooting steps. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to support network-related projects and initiatives. Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed. Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to enhance network performance, reliability, and efficiency. Implement best practices for network design and management.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, with a strong understanding of network technologies and protocols. Technical Skills: Proficiency in network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.Experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF).Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network) needed Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud networking solutions and technologies (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network). Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
