• Performing a variety of medical imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all imaging studies
• Maintaining and updating patient records
• Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and conducting routine maintenance as necessary
• Adhering to all relevant regulations, standards, and policies
• Continuing professional development through ongoing training and education
Imaging Specialist Qualifications & Skills
• Certification in specialized imaging techniques or modalities
• Experience with advanced imaging software and digital imaging technologies
• Understanding of radio logical safety and protection standards
• Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Continuing education courses or professional development in imaging
• Membership in relevant professional organizations or societies
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiology Technology or related field
• Certification as a Radio logic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in medical imaging
