Job Description

As a Wagon Tippler Maintenance Engineer, your role involves monitoring the availability and proper maintenance planning of various equipment including Wagon tippler, Side Arm Charger, Apron feeder, Diverter Gate, EOTs, and their auxiliaries. Your key responsibilities include:- Ensuring the availability of Wagon tipplers for timely handling of rakes to avoid demurrages (penalties).- Conducting proper monitoring of equipment to reduce downtime and operational costs.- Preparing breakdown history of equipment and monitoring the Condition Monitoring Status.- Developing vendors required for purchases related to maintenance.- Monitoring the availability of inventory of all critical spares.- Ensuring 100% safety at the site during maintenance.- Implementing modifications at the site for reliable, efficient, and safe operation.- Ensuring 100% availability and proper maintenance planning of equipment to unload coal rakes.- Indenting material and services planned before the start of every Financial Year.- Planning and executing overhauling, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and proactive maintenance of all equipment along with spares.- Ensuring the least possible time to attend to any breakdown.- Maintaining tools, plants, and spares.- Providing required training to subordinates and GETs.If any additional details about the company are present in the job description, they will be included here.
