Job Description

As a Procurement Manager at AGT Infrastructure Pvt Ltd in Patiala, Punjab, you will play a crucial role in the companys infrastructure development projects. Your responsibilities will include:- Developing and executing strategic sourcing and procurement plans aligned with project needs.- Identifying reliable vendors/suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure best value and quality.- Managing procurement of construction materials, plant & machinery, consumables, and services.- Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and timelines.- Maintaining procurement records, cost analysis reports, and vendor performance logs.- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and finance to forecast material requirements.- Tracking delivery schedules, resolving supply issues, and managing inventory efficiently.- Staying updated with market trends, pricing, and new materials in construction.Qualifications and Skills required for this role:- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the construction or infrastructure industry.- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.- Ability to multitask and handle procurement for multiple projects simultaneously.- Knowledge of local and national supplier markets.At AGT Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, you will have the opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking infrastructure company.
