Job Description

We are looking for a service-focused and knowledgeable individual to join our wait staff team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service, ensuring timely and high-quality service levels are achieved. The focus of the role is to attend to customers needs on the dining room floor, ensuring they have everything they need.ResponsibilitiesTake orders from customers for food and drinks.Ensure orders are passed onto the kitchen staff.Prepare and deliver drinks and food to the tables.Ring up the clients items onto their bills and ensure accurate charges.Issue customers with their bills and process payments via card and cash.Make recommendations on food choices, and read out specials.Ensure tables are stocked with glassware, salt and pepper, and other sauces.Take out bread baskets to tables.Assist tables with any requests they have and update them on the status of their order.Take note of customer complaints and pass them on to relevant staff.Remove used plates and cutlery from tables.Take used plates and cutlery to be washed.Use waiting equipment such as trays and trolleys
