• Develop and implement production schedules in line with sales forecasts and customer requirements.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Monitor production KPIs such as output, downtime, efficiency, and waste reduction.
2. Team Management
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team including engineers, supervisors, and machine operators.
• Provide training and development to ensure team competency.
• Enforce discipline, safety, and adherence to company policies.
3. Quality Assurance
• Ensure all machinery produced meets technical and quality standards (ISO, BIS, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement and monitor quality systems.
• Investigate and resolve production issues and quality complaints.
4. Process Improvement
• Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest/implement corrective actions.
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality.
5. Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with R&D, design, procurement, and maintenance departments.
• Maintain regular production reports and present them to upper management.
• Liaise with clients for technical support and customizations when required.
