Job Description

As a Python Backend Developer at our company, your main responsibility will be to design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices that power business-critical applications. You should possess strong hands-on experience in Python backend development in production environments, along with expertise in Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask for API-driven development. Additionally, you must have a solid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and cloud-native development principles.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design and develop backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Python.- Build scalable, secure, and modular microservices and event-driven components.- Integrate with internal and third-party APIs, authentication services, and messaging systems.- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to implement efficient, reliable persistence layers.- Optimize application performance, security, caching, logging, and error handling.- Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure reliable deployments.- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams throughout SDLC.- Support deployments through CI/CD workflows and containerized environments.- Troubleshoot production issues with structured root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in CS / IT / Engineering or equivalent practical experience.- 2-6 years of experience in Python backend development.- Proficiency in Python, Django, FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies.- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.- Strong understanding of security best practices for backend applications and Agile workflows.- Experience with serverless architecture, observability tools, infrastructure automation, and open-source Python projects is a plus.If you join our team, you will be expected to demonstrate an ownership mindset backed by high accountability, analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a continuous learning attitude to improve systems and skills.,
