KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervise daily safety activities and maintain a safe workplace for employees.
2. Conduct regular inspections and identify unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
3. Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance with safety procedures.
4. Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and employee awareness programs.
5. Monitor fire safety systems, emergency exits and emergency preparedness.
6. Support risk assessments and ensure timely corrective actions.
7. Investigate accidents, incidents and near-miss cases and maintain reports.
8. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments.
9. Monitor contractor activities and ensure required safety practices are followed.
10. Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training logs and compliance documents.
11. Support emergency drills and promote strong safety awareness among employees.
12. Encourage employees to report hazards and contribute to continuous safety improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Science or a relevant discipline preferred.
• Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety or EHS is an advantage.
• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing/FMCG experience will be preferred.
