Job Description

    As a Tunnel Engineer (Civil), you will be responsible for planning and overseeing various tunnelling civil activities such as area levelling, TBM Assembly, TBM Launching, TBM Mining, Breakthrough, and Retrieval. You will monitor and manage preliminary property protection studies, Tunneling Methodology Reports, construction methods, and coordinate with systems and station consultants. Your role will involve conducting daily site inspections, supervising deep excavation works, and ensuring compliance with the Design Tunnel Alignment (DTA).Additionally, you will supervise the operation of a TBM machine, control tunnel labor during excavation and ring building, and maintain accurate site records including excavated volumes and grouting records. You will be responsible for reviewing and preparing method statements for client submission, monitoring site progress, manpower mobilization, and equipment deployment. Ensuring job safety analysis and site safety compliance will be a crucial aspect of your role.Moreover, you will be required to coordinate with various subcontractors to ensure the smooth running of the work. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a full-time Diploma or B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience for B.Tech. holders and 4 years for Diploma degree holders.
