Job Description

Senior Software Engineer, Privacy SandboxLocation: Krakw, PolandExperience Level: MidMinimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with Chromium or web browser development.
  • Experience working on large-scale distributed systems.

We are committed to collaborating with stakeholders in the industry to develop and implement viable, alternative solutions in a way that protects the privacy of users while also ensuring the continued vitality of the web.Responsibilities
  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Lead the design and development of web compatibility tools, techniques, and mitigation to help websites adapt to evolving web privacy standards, including the adoption of new anti-covert tracking technologies.
  • Lead the design and development of the Android compatibility infrastructure to help mitigate and fix user breakages.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to executive engineers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Drive the development of new web standards and best practices in collaboration with the wider web community.
