As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for procedures, diagnoses, and services. Your role is crucial in ensuring proper medical billing and compliance with healthcare regulations.Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze patient records to determine the correct medical codes.
• Assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes accurately based on medical documentation.
• Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations and insurance guidelines.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Stay updated on coding changes, industry regulations, and insurance policies.
• Assist in claims submission and resolve coding-related discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Paramedical, or related fields.
• Certification (Preferred): CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CCS, CCA, or equivalent.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in medical coding (Freshers can also apply).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines.
Salary Package:14,000 to 18,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)Benefits:
