Job Description

    Position: Lead AEM DeveloperLocation: PuneWork Mode: HybridExperience : 6 YearsKey Responsibilities:
    • Lead AEM Development Projects:
      • Oversee the architecture, design, and development of AEM-based solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
      • Lead a team of developers and ensure that all deliverables meet quality, technical, and performance standards.
      • Provide technical expertise and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers.
    • Solution Design and Architecture:
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and create technical solutions.
      • Design scalable, high-performance AEM architectures that integrate with various third-party systems (e.g., CRMs, ERPs, DAM, marketing automation tools).
      • Ensure the overall health of AEM instances, including performance optimization, security, and compliance.
    • AEM Implementation & Integration:
      • Drive the development of AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
      • Implement and manage AEMs core functionality such as Web Content Management (WCM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and personalization features.
      • Integrate AEM with backend systems (such as REST APIs, databases, or other microservices).
    • Code Quality and Best Practices:
      • Ensure high-quality coding standards and practices are followed, including version control, documentation, and testing.
      • Conduct regular code reviews to enforce coding best practices and to ensure consistency and scalability across the project.
      • Implement unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for developed solutions.
    • Collaboration & Communication:
      • Serve as a primary point of contact for technical issues related to AEM.
      • Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure alignment with business requirements and deadlines.
      • Communicate technical challenges and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
      • Proactively monitor and optimize the performance of AEM websites and applications.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and swift recovery.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Technical Skills:
      • Expertise in AEM technologies: Sling, JCR, Oak, OSGi, CRX, Dispatcher, and Day CQ.
      • Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, and RESTful APIs.
      • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular/React.
      • Familiarity with AEM Cloud Service or Adobe Cloud Platform is a plus.
      • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
    • Tools & Platforms:
      • Experience with source control tools like Git, SVN, or Bitbucket.
      • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
      • Knowledge of AEM tools such as AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms is highly desirable.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
      • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
