Job Description

    **Role Overview:**As an Application Engineer at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in bid management, focusing on the selection of valves, actuator sizing, and pricing of Isolation valve products and field equipment based on customer requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a technical expert during the quotation phase, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide the best product solutions for specific applications.**Key Responsibilities:**- Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand project requirements and propose optimal solutions.- Ensure timely submission of high-quality offers by coordinating with various teams including Business Development Managers, sales teams, Legal, PMO, and factory PSQs.- Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers, partners, and distributors.- Participate in pre and post-order technical meetings with sales, PMO, Product management team, and BDMs.- Maintain updated CRM data and review project requirements accurately before submitting offers.- Comply with the Delegation of Authority process and ensure on-time offer submissions.**Qualifications Required:**- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Proficiency in MS Office.- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.- Demonstrated teamwork and the ability to work collaboratively.- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex situations under pressure.**Additional Details:**At Emerson, we value a workplace where every employee is respected, empowered, and encouraged to grow.
