Job Description

    As an SDE III - Backend Engineer at ZOOP, you will be a valuable member of the engineering team responsible for building and scaling the B2B KYC platform. Your role will involve developing and enhancing microservices, APIs, and core backend functionalities. If you thrive in solving complex problems, mentoring others, and working in dynamic environments, this opportunity is for you!**Key Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and backend components for the KYC platform.- Create and upkeep well-documented APIs and queue contracts for interservice communication.- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to implement scalable and maintainable features.- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle: planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.- Guide junior developers on engineering best practices like Test Driven Development (TDD) and clean code.- Promote team knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.- 6 years of software development experience, preferably with Node.js or similar technologies.- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.- Experience in building distributed and highly available systems at scale.- Hands-on experience with event-driven platforms using technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.- Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.- Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and performance optimization techniques.- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience working in Agile environments.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve complex production issues.ZOOP is a company where you will be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
