Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be working as an Applications Support Analyst 2 at Citigroup, where you will be applying your specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. Your main responsibilities will include identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, and researching factual information. You will also be analyzing existing system logic, making recommendations for enhancements, and defining scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding.Key Responsibilities:- Have a good understanding of apps support procedures and concepts- Maintain, identify, and define enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments- Analyze existing system logic and make recommendations for enhancements or fixes- Formulate and define scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding- Partner with appropriate development and production support areas- Participate in validation and testing activities- Assess the applicability of previous experiences and evaluate options under new circumstances- Exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical manner- Perform other duties and functions as assigned- Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, considering the firms reputation and complying with laws and regulationsQualifications:- 3-6 years of experience or interest in apps support procedures, concepts, and other technical areas- ITIL Foundation certification- Hands-on experience in Unix and SQL- Knowledge of batch management and monitoring tools- Ability to work under pressure- Analytical and troubleshooting skills- Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure- Good interpersonal and communication skillsAdditional Details:You should have knowledge in Python/Java scripting.Please note that the Job Family Group is Technology, and the Job Family is Applications Support.
