Job Description

    - Qualifications- **Education**: Preferred Science Graduate with an MBA.- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in sales, ideally within the healthcare or medical device sectors.- Role OverviewThe role focuses on achieving and exceeding sales targets for ASP STERRAD consumables within the designated region, aligned with company policies and objectives. The individual will need to possess a thorough understanding of the products, as well as insights into customer needs and market competition. Building long-term, positive customer relationships is essential for fostering loyalty and establishing ASP as a preferred supplier.- Key Responsibilities1- Sales Turnover- Promote the complete range of ASP products.- Develop and present weekly and monthly sales action plans to management, detailing activities needed to meet sales goals.- Negotiate and close sales in standard situations, seeking guidance for more complex deals.- Participate in trade displays and conferences as required.2- Territory Management- Understand customer needs to identify sales opportunities.- Spot tender and contract opportunities, collaborating with colleagues to address them.- With guidance, create and implement an effective territory management plan.- Educate surgeons on best practices for infection control through consultative sales and training sessions.3- Customer In-service Education & Training- Collaborate with management to assess customer education needs for efficient product use in healthcare settings.- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital personnel at all levels.- Assist in coordinating and delivering in-service education sessions.- Provide marketing with insights on customer education resource requirements.4- Key Account Management- Develop a strategic plan for key account growth by identifying opportunities.- Document key customers and decision-makers effectively.- Stay informed about strategies for key account growth.- Identify and maximize cross-selling opportunities, working with colleagues to capitalize on them.- Support customers with inventory management in line with company guidelines.5- Product & Market Knowledge- Continuously enhance knowledge of product features, benefits, and proper applications through experience, training, and insights from key users.- Demonstrate product applications and differentiate ASP products from competitors.- Understand competitive products, including their features, advantages, and benefits.- Collect information on current practices, behaviors, and customer attitudes.6- Expense, Equipment, and Samples- Manage accounts receivable and operating expenses responsibly (transportation, advertising, entertainment, travel) while maintaining sustainable productivity.- Obtain prior approval for any budget variations.- Adhere to sample distribution and coordination guidelines.- Align expense budgets and guidelines with immediate management.- Strategically plan sample and expense usage to stay within budget.7- Corporate Ethics and Governance- Maintain an ethical and responsible approach while pursuing business outcomes.- Conduct business in accordance with company values and ethics.- Build relationships with customers based on high ethical standards.
