Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust Java applications leveraging AWS cloud services.
    • Implement AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, API Gateway, and others in cloud-native applications.
    • Write efficient, reusable, and testable code in Java, ensuring high-quality standards.
    • Develop microservices-based applications using Java and deploy them on AWS infrastructure.
    • Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate with various systems.
    • Manage and monitor applications running in production environments using AWS tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray.
    • Optimize application performance and scalability using AWS Auto Scaling, load balancing, and caching strategies.
    • Work with DevOps teams to build continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Collaborate with front-end developers and system architects to integrate services and ensure smooth operations.
    • Follow Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure efficient and secure application performance.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Strong experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
    • In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, etc.).
    • Experience with cloud-native development using microservices architecture.
    • Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
    • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), including RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS deployment tools such as CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk, and CodePipeline.
    • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience securing applications in the cloud.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
